Store Manager position at Sephora's new Hurstville store in Sydney, Australia. Lead retail operations for luxury beauty brand within LVMH group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of Beauty Advisors, Studio Artists, and Department Managers to embody Sephora's values and drive client engagement
- Drive sales performance by establishing and monitoring KPIs aligned with store targets, identifying sales opportunities and forecasting revenue
- Manage store profit and loss, including inventory optimization and stock level monitoring to maximize profitability
- Develop and implement operational initiatives including brand events, training programs, and visual merchandising updates to reinforce the Sephora brand
- Cultivate a positive store culture through feedback, coaching, recognition, and career development opportunities for all team members
- Attract, recruit, and develop high-performing retail talent to strengthen team capability and support succession planning
- Utilize data analytics and reporting to inform operational decisions in partnership with the District Manager and Director of Stores
- Ensure consistent delivery of first-class customer service and experiential retail excellence during all trading hours
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and maintain standards across all store operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience at a big box retailer or multi-site operation
- Proven track record of driving sales performance and achieving KPIs in a retail environment
- Strong P&L and budget management capability
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and business management skills
- Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and cross-level influence capability
- Hands-on leadership approach with comfort working on the sales floor
- Talent acquisition and development expertise
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status
