Role & Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all daily store operations to deliver a seamless, elevated client experience while achieving sales, margin, and profitability targets in a high-volume environment.
- Recruit, onboard and retain top talent; design staffing plans and cultivate an inclusive team that embodies Sephora’s service standards.
- Coach, develop and inspire store leaders and associates through regular feedback, performance appraisals, and targeted learning initiatives to drive individual and team performance.
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and visual standards to ensure an immaculate, brand-compliant store presentation and optimal product availability.
- Resolve client concerns with professionalism and empathy, drive loyalty program engagement, and create personalized experiences that increase retention and lifetime value.
- Ensure operational compliance with company policies and local regulations, including loss prevention, safety protocols, and HR procedures.
- Optimize resources and adapt quickly to shifting priorities to capitalize on sales opportunities and maintain operational efficiency.
- Maintain on-site presence during peak business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and perform physical tasks such as stocking and lifting (up to 50 lbs) as required.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in store leadership within high-volume, complex retail or hospitality environments with demonstrable results in driving sales and team performance.
- Strong business acumen with experience setting strategic direction, managing store P&L drivers, and executing store-level business plans.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, resolve conflict, and build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated passion for talent development, including recruiting, coaching, and succession planning.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays and ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.

Experience
Demonstrated success leading teams in fast-paced, high-volume retail or hospitality settings, with experience driving store results, recruiting and developing talent, and executing operational and commercial initiatives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
