Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily store operations to deliver an elevated, seamless client experience while achieving sales and profitability targets in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Recruit, onboard and retain top talent; build an inclusive, high-performing team that embodies Sephora’s service standards and brand values.
  • Coach, mentor and develop associates and leaders through real-time feedback, formal performance appraisals and targeted development plans.
  • Drive sales and client engagement through personalised service, loyalty programme activation and local community initiatives.
  • Ensure operational excellence: maintain visual merchandising standards, stock integrity, loss-prevention protocols and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimise labour and inventory resources to align staffing levels and product assortments with demand and business priorities.
  • Resolve complex client escalations professionally and proactively, protecting brand reputation and fostering long-term loyalty.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of store management success in high-volume, complex retail or hospitality settings, with responsibility for driving results and executing business plans.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience recruiting, coaching and developing diverse teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; adept at building trust with frontline teams and senior leadership and managing conflict constructively.
  • Client-centric mindset with demonstrated ability to create personalised experiences that drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and apply or handle cosmetic products with or without accommodation.
