Sephora Store Manager in Providence, RI — lead store operations, coach teams and drive sales at Providence Place.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily store operations to deliver an elevated and consistent client experience while achieving sales, margin and profitability targets.
- Recruit, onboard and develop a diverse, high-performing team through coaching, performance management and structured learning to drive engagement and retention.
- Set and execute the store business plan, monitor KPIs, optimize staffing and inventory allocation, and adapt strategies to meet shifting priorities.
- Ensure operational excellence and brand compliance by maintaining visual merchandising standards, executing store processes, and enforcing policies.
- Resolve client concerns with diplomacy and efficiency, grow loyalty program engagement, and create personalized experiences to maximize lifetime value.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide actionable feedback and mentorship, and identify succession opportunities within the store leadership bench.
Qualifications
- Proven success managing high-volume, complex retail or hospitality operations with responsibility for P&L, team performance and business results.
- Demonstrable leadership experience in recruiting, coaching and developing multi-disciplinary teams to exceed sales and service objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Client-centric mindset with a track record of delivering personalized service and driving loyalty program engagement.
- Ability to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays and meet the physical requirements of the role.

Demonstrated success as a store manager or senior retail leader in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with proven ability to set strategic direction, drive results, and develop store-level talent.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 86,000 to USD 105,300 per annum.
