Sephora Store Manager in Providence, RI — lead store operations, coach teams and drive sales at Providence Place.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily store operations to deliver an elevated and consistent client experience while achieving sales, margin and profitability targets.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop a diverse, high-performing team through coaching, performance management and structured learning to drive engagement and retention.
  • Set and execute the store business plan, monitor KPIs, optimize staffing and inventory allocation, and adapt strategies to meet shifting priorities.
  • Ensure operational excellence and brand compliance by maintaining visual merchandising standards, executing store processes, and enforcing policies.
  • Resolve client concerns with diplomacy and efficiency, grow loyalty program engagement, and create personalized experiences to maximize lifetime value.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide actionable feedback and mentorship, and identify succession opportunities within the store leadership bench.

Qualifications

  • Proven success managing high-volume, complex retail or hospitality operations with responsibility for P&L, team performance and business results.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience in recruiting, coaching and developing multi-disciplinary teams to exceed sales and service objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Client-centric mindset with a track record of delivering personalized service and driving loyalty program engagement.
  • Ability to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays and meet the physical requirements of the role.
