Role & Responsibilities
- Establish sales and staffing forecasts with the District Manager to optimize store results and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance
- Achieve store sales targets and operational profitability while managing expenses effectively and implementing business strategy changes as required
- Develop strategies to drive business growth by leveraging the customer loyalty program, events, product knowledge, and beauty services
- Maintain optimal staffing levels to deliver exceptional customer experiences while adhering to budget constraints
- Recruit, interview, and hire team members across all store positions based on operational needs
- Train, coach, and motivate Service Managers and Team Leaders, delegating supervision responsibilities to develop their leadership and business acumen
- Foster a coaching culture where team members receive timely recognition for achievements and constructive feedback on improvement opportunities through daily mentoring and quarterly development meetings
- Conduct inventory management, maintain accurate stock records, and communicate inventory concerns to relevant stakeholders
- Make strategic and innovative merchandising decisions aligned with Sephora concepts to drive business growth
- Maintain composure and demonstrate the courage to facilitate difficult conversations in a leadership capacity
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of senior management experience in the beauty, retail, or customer service industry
- Demonstrated experience leading a high-performing team with a passion for training, development, and education
- Proven recruitment, staffing, and hiring experience across all store positions, including manager-level roles
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills (oral and written)
- Proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel
- Acute business acumen with the ability to analyze sales trends and respond appropriately
- Demonstrated experience achieving targets and key performance indicators
