Store Manager opportunity at Sephora Hamburg Überseequartier. Lead a dynamic beauty retail team in Germany's vibrant commercial district.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and coach Assistant Managers and store employees with emphasis on career development and performance appraisals
- Manage recruitment strategies and induction of new team members
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets with year-on-year growth accountability
- Analyze key retail performance indicators (IPT, AVB, Conversion Rate, Market Share) and implement targeted sales initiatives
- Maintain flawless visual merchandising standards and implement timely display updates and promotional activations
- Ensure exemplary customer service delivery and respond to customer feedback with improvement measures
- Create staff schedules and daily floor deployment plans to optimize store operations
- Oversee inventory management, including receipt, storage, write-offs, returns, and tester management
- Ensure proper store opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation
- Monitor store compliance with Sephora audit standards and operational protocols
- Track maintenance issues and merchandise discrepancies
- Develop category performance and control retail key figures (MS, IPT, AVB, CR, service count)
- Foster positive relationships with area management and external partners
- Participate in retail projects and strategic initiatives in collaboration with Area Managers
Qualifications
- Completed secondary education, vocational training, or university degree, ideally with retail focus
- Minimum 4–5 years of retail experience, preferably in prestige beauty or selective distribution
- Proven track record in team management and staff leadership with empathetic coaching style
- Strong customer engagement background and ability to develop team members
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel (basic knowledge required)
- Fluent in English and German (native or fluent level)
- Demonstrated analytical and commercial thinking
- Strong hands-on work ethic with regular floor presence

Experience
Minimum 4–5 years of retail experience, preferably in the prestige beauty or luxury goods sector. Prior management and team leadership experience is required, with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop diverse teams. Hands-on floor presence and a solutions-oriented approach to retail challenges are essential.
Education
Completed secondary education, vocational training, or university degree. Retail-specific training or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
