Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the store across strategy, service, people, and operations.
  • Provide strategic insight to the Regional Retail Manager through market analysis and competitor reviews.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop the management team with regular feedback and personalized development plans.
  • Develop short- and long-term plans to maximize sales and elevate store performance.
  • Use customer insights and local trends to inform product recommendations and stock decisions.
  • Ensure exceptional client experience through live coaching and service elevation.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze results, and implement action plans to exceed commercial targets.
  • Ensure operational excellence in cash handling, stock management, and visual merchandising.
  • Create a safe, organized, and compliant store environment.
  • Partner with Supervisors to align on service, promotions, and performance goals.
  • Drive accountability for results across all categories, including exclusive brands and Sephora Collection.
  • Manage team scheduling and annual leave to maintain strong floor coverage.
  • Partner with the Recruitment team to attract and hire exceptional talent.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading high-performing retail teams with strong commercial and operational capability.
  • Willingness to develop a deep understanding of Sephora product categories and exceptional customer experience standards.
  • Strong digital and analytical skills to interpret sales data and drive informed decision-making.
  • Passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing people.
  • Expertise in operational excellence including stock, cash, compliance, and store presentation.
  • Leadership style aligned with Sephora’s values: inclusive, creative, empowering, and customer-obsessed.
