Sephora is hiring a full-time Store Manager for its store at The Ridge Shopping Center in Elk Grove, California. The salaried, exempt role leads store operations, team development, sales performance, and client experience; availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and deliver an elevated client experience while driving sales and profitability in a high-volume environment.
- Lead, coach, inspire, and develop a diverse team, fostering growth, accountability, and strong performance.
- Attract, recruit, and onboard talent to build an inclusive team that reflects Sephora’s values and delivers signature service.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide actionable feedback and mentorship to support team members’ development and engagement.

- Demonstrated success as a Store Manager in high-volume, complex retail or hospitality environments.
- Ability to set strategic direction, champion store culture, drive store results, and execute business plans to achieve targets.
- Strong leadership and business acumen, with the ability to recruit, inspire, and develop talent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust and alignment, manage conflict, and facilitate complex discussions.
- Passion for developing others through mentorship, real-time coaching, feedback, and a culture of learning and accountability.
- Experience creating personalized client experiences that build loyalty and satisfaction while balancing operations with business growth.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend and stretch to stock shelves, and stand and walk the sales floor for an entire shift.
- Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment and handle and apply products to clients, with or without accommodation.
