Sephora seeks a Store Manager in Culver City, CA to lead The Steps store; salaried role with an annual base of $93,800–$114,850.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily store operations to deliver a seamless, elevated client experience while ensuring achievement of sales, margin, and profitability targets in a high-volume environment.
  • Recruit, onboard and retain top talent; develop an inclusive store culture that motivates performance, accountability and long-term career growth.
  • Coach and mentor the team via regular performance appraisals, real-time feedback, and individualized development plans to drive engagement and capability-building.
  • Maintain visual and operational standards, ensuring a pristine, brand-compliant presentation and adherence to all policies, procedures and loss-prevention controls.
  • Optimize staffing and inventory resources, analyze KPIs and implement initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Resolve client concerns with diplomacy and professionalism, proactively cultivate loyalty through personalized service and engagement with Sephora’s loyalty programs.

Qualifications

  • Proven success as a store manager in high-volume, complex retail or hospitality environments with responsibility for P&L, staffing and store-level strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and retain diverse teams; strong track record of building positive store culture and achieving performance goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including conflict management and the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Passion for client experience and growth orientation with experience delivering personalized, memorable service that drives loyalty.
  • Ability to perform physical aspects of the role: lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for full shifts, bend/stretch to stock, and handle/apply product as required.

Experience
