Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations to deliver an elevated, seamless client experience while achieving sales and profitability targets in a high-volume environment.
- Recruit, onboard and retain top talent; build an inclusive, high-performing team that reflects Sephora’s values.
- Coach, mentor and develop associates through performance appraisals, real-time feedback and tailored learning opportunities.
- Drive client engagement and loyalty through personalized service, effective use of loyalty programs and proactive issue resolution.
- Maintain operational excellence, visual standards and compliance with brand policies, procedures and loss-prevention requirements.
- Optimize inventory and staffing resources to respond to demand fluctuations and maximize sales opportunities.
- Represent the store in the local community and adapt priorities to support promotional and seasonal initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven success leading a high-volume retail or hospitality store, with the ability to set strategic direction and deliver measurable results.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and inspire diverse teams and to foster a culture of accountability and learning.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including conflict management and stakeholder alignment.
- Client-centric mindset with a track record of creating memorable, personalized customer experiences.
- Ability to perform physical tasks required by the role (lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for entire shifts) and to handle/apply beauty products, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 3+ years of store management or equivalent leadership experience in high-volume retail or hospitality, with a demonstrated record of driving sales, coaching teams and executing business plans.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
