Sephora is hiring a Store Manager for its King Street boutique in Charleston, SC to lead store operations, drive sales and develop a high-performing team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations to deliver a seamless, elevated client experience in a high-volume retail environment.
- Set strategic direction for the store and drive sales, profitability and attainment of business targets.
- Recruit, onboard and retain top talent, building an inclusive, high-performing team that embodies brand values.
- Coach, develop and provide ongoing feedback and performance appraisals to sustain engagement and career progression.
- Champion continuous learning through structured coaching, training and development initiatives.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance with company policies, visual standards, and loss-prevention procedures.
- Optimize inventory and staffing allocations to respond to shifting priorities and maximize sales opportunities.
- Resolve client concerns expertly and proactively drive loyalty through personalized experiences and engagement programs.
Qualifications
- Proven success managing high-volume, complex retail or hospitality operations with responsibility for store performance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience recruiting, coaching and developing a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and conflict-management abilities with experience liaising with senior leadership.
- Client-centric mindset with a track record of delivering personalized service and driving loyalty.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by store operations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to stock shelves, stand and walk for entire shifts, and handle/apply products to clients (with or without accommodation).

Experience
At least 5 years of retail experience, including a minimum of 2 years in store leadership or management within a high-volume, customer-facing environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 82,100 to USD 100,550 per annum.
