Role & Responsibilities
- Create exceptional client experiences through data-driven service improvements and strong relationship-building across Sephora's product and service portfolio
- Develop and execute strategic sales and budget plans that maximize store profitability and meet organizational revenue targets
- Drive operational initiatives to ensure store efficiency, brand representation, and adherence to company policies and best practices
- Lead, coach, and develop team members by understanding individual strengths, fostering career growth, and modeling Sephora's core values of Passion, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect, Teamwork, and Initiative
- Measure key performance indicators using Sephora's analytical tools and propose action plans for continuous improvement
- Maintain hands-on presence on the sales floor to motivate teams, ensure exceptional client service, and reinforce brand culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience at equivalent or higher sales-volume locations
- Demonstrated excellence in client service and experiential retail operations
- Proven ability to attract, identify, and inspire high-performing team members
- Strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and communication skills with the ability to influence and lead diverse teams
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and strategic planning capabilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend and stretch for stocking, and stand/walk throughout entire shifts
- Comfort working in a fragrance-rich environment and handling/applying cosmetic products
- Flexibility in availability and willingness to relocate within the assigned market area
- Adherence to Sephora's dress code and employee handbook policies
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on retail management experience at stores with equivalent or higher sales volumes. Candidates should have demonstrated success in leading teams, driving sales results, and fostering inclusive, high-performing store cultures.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional post-secondary education or relevant retail certifications preferred.
