Store Manager position at Sephora Boisbriand, QC. Lead retail operations, team, and sales in luxury beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Establish sales and staffing forecasts with the Regional Director to improve store performance metrics
- Monitor and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales results to the team; adjust action plans as needed to meet targets
- Manage and measure the effectiveness of commercial strategies to increase revenue while controlling expenses
- Develop strategies to increase business activity leveraging customer loyalty programs, events, product knowledge, and services
- Maintain optimal staffing levels to deliver exceptional customer experiences while respecting budget objectives
- Recruit, interview, and hire candidates for all positions according to business needs
- Oversee training, mentoring, and supervision of Assistant Managers and Supervisors; delegate tasks and motivate to develop their leadership and business competencies
- Create a supportive management culture where team members receive timely recognition and constructive feedback
- Ensure all team members participate in quarterly development meetings and receive individual development plans
- Ensure adherence to Sephora concepts, brand culture, and operational policies
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly store operations to ensure optimal performance and compliance
Qualifications
- Proven retail management experience in a luxury or selective distribution environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L and budget forecasting
- Excellent customer service orientation and ability to create a customer-centric culture
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and sales optimization strategies
- Familiarity with loyalty programs and customer relationship management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural setting
Skills
Experience
Substantial retail management experience, preferably within luxury beauty, prestige cosmetics, or selective distribution retail. Proven track record of driving sales growth, managing budgets, and leading high-performing teams in a multi-faceted retail environment.
Education
Secondary education required; post-secondary business administration or retail management diploma preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Boisbriand, Quebec, Canada, with easy access to Montreal.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 82,200 to CAD 102,700 per annum.
