Sephora Canada — Store Experience Manager in Waterloo, ON: lead in‑store beauty services, classes and team development. Permanent full‑time role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all client-facing services, classes and events at the assigned store, including the Beauty, Skin and Fragrance Studio.
  • Manage daily operations of the Studio: publish advisor availability, schedule classes, and administer the online services reservation system.
  • Drive service sales by ensuring adequate staffing levels, an efficient client check‑in process and consistent service quality.
  • Coach, develop and certify beauty advisors, Senior Artistry and Skincare roles; lead onboarding and ongoing training sessions.
  • Ensure beauty advisors adopt and leverage in‑store service technology and booking tools to elevate the client experience.
  • Support visual merchandising and sales‑floor standards: execute visual flips, maintain organization and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Liaise with brand/vendor representatives to coordinate in‑store training and evaluate brand training effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on service performance metrics and contribute to local sales and staffing planning.

Qualifications

  • Two to four years of experience in a comparable role within a similarly sized retail store or equivalent internal experience.
  • Proven ability to recruit, coach and develop store teams to deliver elevated client service and drive sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional partners.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage scheduling, studio operations and service delivery under high traffic conditions.
  • Physically able to work in a fragrance environment, lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform stocking tasks.

Experience

Two to four years' experience in a comparable store‑level role (beauty, cosmetics or high‑volume retail) or equivalent internal experience, with demonstrated leadership and service management responsibility.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in business, retail management, cosmetology or a related field preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
