Role & Responsibilities
- Train and develop Beauty Advisors through onboarding programs, certification processes, and artistry skill enhancement
- Lead sales floor operations and manage team of Beauty Leads and Beauty Advisors to exceed performance targets
- Oversee Beauty, Skincare, and Fragrance Studio operations including Paid Services Beauty Advisor team and 1:1 client services
- Manage online reservation system for services, publishing advisor availability and class schedules
- Drive client engagement through innovation and execution of in-store events, classes, and community connections
- Execute visual merchandising concepts and maintain sales floor standards aligned with company guidelines
- Manage inventory tester and supply levels, ensuring timely replenishment and organized presentation
- Collaborate with brand representatives on product training and provide feedback on vendor effectiveness
- Mentor team members with coaching emphasis and facilitate difficult conversations with professional composure
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service industry
- Proven track record of coaching teams to company expectations and performance standards
- Demonstrated passion for training, development, and education
- Entrepreneurial mindset with history of generating business or executing community-focused events
- Strong time management and staff efficiency planning capabilities
- Ability to maintain composure and exercise managerial courage in challenging conversations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Skills
Experience
2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail, or customer service, or equivalent internal progression within a luxury retail environment. Background in makeup artistry or skincare services is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail management, business, or beauty services preferred but not required.

This position is based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, within easy reach of Halifax.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
