Sephora Store Director

Role & Responsibilities
- Drive store sales, profitability and productivity through accurate forecasting, daily/weekly/monthly performance monitoring and proactive operational adjustments.
- Lead talent acquisition, development and retention: recruit, interview, hire and onboard across all store positions and coach Assistant Managers and Supervisors to build leadership capability.
- Design and execute merchandising and visual strategies in accordance with Sephora concepts to maximize conversion and average transaction value.
- Manage store budget: forecast sales and payroll with the District Manager, control expenses and deliver operating profit targets.
- Maintain inventory integrity through timely inventories, accurate record-keeping and escalation of stock issues to stakeholders.
- Foster an exceptional client experience by leveraging the loyalty program, events, services and product knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures and health & safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of management experience in the retail or service industry, with prior responsibility for P&L, staffing and day-to-day operations.
- Proven experience recruiting, staffing and developing teams including front-line leaders.
- Strong analytical capability to interpret sales trends and translate data into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication, time management and problem‑solving skills with demonstrated managerial courage and composure.
- Open availability including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.

Experience
At least 5 years of management experience in retail or service environments, including direct responsibility for recruitment, staffing, coaching and delivering sales and profit objectives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college or university degree preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 82,200 to CAD 102,700 per annum.
