Sephora Stockroom Manager role in Sydney, Australia—lead inventory operations, manage stock levels, and join a luxury retailer's management team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive scheduled cycle counts and data analysis to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent stockouts
- Monitor and investigate negative stock levels, liaising with store management and supply chain teams to resolve discrepancies
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with senior management, supply chain, and planning teams to optimize operational efficiency and reduce shrinkage loss
- Serve as the primary contact for stock distribution, organization, and ad-hoc inventory decisions to support sales forecasting and business objectives
- Train and educate store team members on shrinkage prevention, back-of-house policies, and inventory management procedures
- Process, replenish, and manage arrival of stock shipments; coordinate returns with external stakeholders and manage timely pick-up logistics
- Retrieve stock from shop floor and liaise with external partners for return processing and pick-up arrangements
- Monitor profit and loss metrics related to stock management and maintain accurate reporting using data systems and tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail stock management experience, including cycle counts, product launches, and visual merchandising
- Proven experience in people management and coaching to drive cultural excellence and team development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including SharePoint) and SAP systems for data interpretation and daily reporting
- Physical fitness suitable for lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 15 kg regularly
- Track record of exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators
- Passionate about luxury retail brand representation and experiential customer service

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in retail stock management, encompassing cycle counts, product launches, visual merchandising, profit and loss oversight, and sales forecasting within a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
