Sephora seeks a Stockroom Manager in Werribee, Melbourne. Full-time inventory control role at AUD $32.24/hr plus benefits in new store opening.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive scheduled cycle counts and analyse inventory data to identify stock adjustments and prevent out-of-stock situations
- Monitor and investigate negative stock levels, liaising with store team members to resolve discrepancies
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives by coaching team members and collaborating with senior management, supply chain, and planning teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stock distribution and organisation, making informed ad-hoc inventory decisions
- Train and educate store staff on shrinkage mitigation and back-of-house procedures and policies
- Process incoming stock, manage product returns, and coordinate with external stakeholders for logistics and pick-up
- Retrieve and prepare returns from the shop floor, liaising with external partners for timely collection
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail stock management experience
- Demonstrated expertise in cycle counts, product launches, and visual merchandising
- Proven people management and leadership capabilities
- Experience managing profit and loss of stock levels and sales forecasting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
- SAP experience (desirable)
- Suitable level of physical fitness to lift and shift boxes up to 15kg
- Strong drive for results and history of exceeding sales targets and KPIs
