SEPHORA UK is hiring a Stock Manager in Cardiff to lead stockroom operations, inventory control and team development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day stockroom operations, ensuring accurate receiving, inspection, processing and timely availability of product on the sales floor.
  • Supervise, train and coach Beauty Advisors on stock organisation, inventory processes, safety procedures and loss‑prevention protocols.
  • Manage inventory control through regular audits, monitoring stock levels, replenishment and corrective actions to maintain accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  • Optimise stockroom layout, stock flow and operational procedures to improve efficiency during peak trading and promotions.
  • Use sales and service analytics to inform stock planning, replenishment priorities and operational decisions.
  • Support People Leaders with employee relations matters, performance management, attendance and development plans.
  • Maintain compliant, safe and organised store and stockroom environments aligned with SEPHORA standards.
  • Assist with customer product enquiries when required and participate in new store opening activities (unboxing, organising and preparing stock).

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years' retail leadership experience with demonstrable responsibility for stock management and operational delivery.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate retail teams; experience setting goals and conducting performance check‑ins.
  • Experience managing employee relations including attendance and performance processes.
  • Clear understanding of loss prevention techniques, inventory accuracy controls and safety compliance.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.

Experience
