Sephora Canada — Vancouver: Stage Experience Manager role at Robson Street store managing beauty studio services, classes and team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end client experience for the assigned store, including all services, classes and events offered in the Beauty, Skin and Fragrance Studio.
- Manage daily operations of the Beauty/Studio area: publish advisor availability, schedule classes, maintain the online reservation system and ensure efficient client check‑in.
- Recruit, coach and develop Beauty Advisors and Senior Artistry/Skincare roles; deliver onboarding, selling model training and continuous professional development.
- Ensure coordinators and studio staff are trained to meet service targets and consistently drive paid services revenue and client satisfaction.
- Partner with Operations and Visual Merchandising to keep the sales floor and studio presentation to company standards; execute visual flips and replenishment when service inventory is added to the floor.
- Act as the primary store contact for visiting brand representatives: facilitate product training, ensure brands engage effectively with store cast, and provide feedback on training outcomes.
- Leverage in‑store technology and digital tools to elevate the client experience and ensure teams adopt new systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Two to four years’ experience in a similar role at a comparable volume retail location or equivalent internal experience.
- Proven track record of building, coaching and retaining high‑performing store teams and identifying emerging leaders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfort working in a fragrance‑rich environment and performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent bending/stretching.
Skills
Experience
Two to four years of supervisory or management experience in beauty retail, high‑volume cosmetics stores or equivalent internal roles, with responsibility for services, staff development and guest experience.
Education
High school diploma required; post‑secondary credential or certificate in cosmetology, esthetics, hospitality, retail management or a related field preferred.
