Sephora Canada in Ajax seeks a Stage Experience Manager, Stores to lead in-store services, studio operations and team development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operations of all in-store services (Beauty, Skin and Fragrance Studio) and the coordination of classes and events within the assigned store.
- Manage the services online reservation system: publish advisor availability, schedule classes and ensure efficient client check-in and throughput.
- Recruit, coach and develop beauty advisors, Senior Artistry and Skincare team members; deliver and execute training and onboarding programs.
- Drive service sales and client satisfaction by ensuring advisors leverage technology and follow the brand's selling model.
- Ensure store visual merchandising and sales-floor standards are maintained; execute merchandising flips and replenish display inventory.
- Coordinate with brand/vendor representatives to ensure effective product training and in-store brand activations; provide feedback on training effectiveness.
- Manage staffing levels for optimal service delivery and monitor operational KPIs related to services and studio performance.
- Enforce health, safety and operational standards for service spaces and ensure physical readiness of the studio environment.
Qualifications
- Two to four years' experience in a similar role in a comparable-volume retail environment or equivalent internal experience.
- Proven leadership and people-development skills with a track record of building high-performing store teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence partners at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver training programs, coach on selling techniques and implement onboarding processes.
- Comfortable working in a fragrance-rich environment and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; able to bend and stretch for stock tasks.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and peak retail hours, to support classes and services.
Skills
Experience
Two to four years in a comparable retail services or beauty studio management role, with proven experience in team development, client services and driving service-based sales.
Education
Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Retail Management, Business, Hospitality, Cosmetology or a related discipline preferred; high school diploma required or equivalent retail experience.

The role is situated in Ajax, Ontario, Canada — conveniently close to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
