Sephora Bayshore (Ottawa) seeks a Stage Experience Lead — full‑time role overseeing the beauty floor, client experience and team development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on‑floor sales departments (e.g., Makeup, Skincare, Fragrance, Haircare) within the assigned store, ensuring consistent execution of the brand’s selling model.
  • Coach and develop cast to deliver exceptional client service and achieve store sales objectives; conduct regular check‑ins and provide timely performance feedback.
  • Respond to and action client feedback in partnership with the store management team, including escalation through the client feedback tool and hotline where required.
  • Ensure World selling cast are trained and proficient with Client Interactive Technology and other in‑store digital tools.
  • Support planning and execution of in‑store events to drive traffic, conversion and client engagement.
  • Identify talent, support recruitment of strong store leaders, and participate in building high‑performing teams focused on sales and client retention.
  • Monitor department performance metrics, identify business opportunities and partner with management to convert insights into action.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of retail leadership experience in a high‑volume beauty or luxury environment; comparable internal experience is acceptable.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate frontline teams to deliver sales and service targets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience handling client feedback and resolving client service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ability to support event execution and training initiatives across multiple product categories.

Experience

Minimum of 1–3 years of supervisory or assistant‑manager experience in a high‑volume beauty, cosmetics or luxury retail environment, including direct responsibility for coaching teams, managing client experience and supporting in‑store events.

High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in retail management, business or a related field considered an asset.
