This Stage Experience and Services Lead role at Sephora oversees all on-stage makeup and skincare services, classes, and events across designated product categories (Color, Skincare, Sephora Collection, and Fragrance). The position is responsible for managing Services Coordinators and store cast, ensuring adherence to Sephora's service standards and selling model while delivering exceptional client experiences that drive store performance and exceed company objectives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-stage services, classes, and event execution across designated product categories and store locations
- Supervise and develop Services Coordinators, ensuring adequate training to effectively manage the studio and drive daily service operations
- Maintain a coaching culture by selecting, training, and certifying Studio Facilitators and coaches, and regularly attending classes to ensure expectations are met
- Execute cast training outside of Daily Dose in partnership with elevated experts to ensure product, category, and brand knowledge
- Conduct custom makeovers, mini-makeovers, and skincare services as needed, demonstrating artistry skills and passion for makeup and skincare
- Regularly serve as Director in Charge (DIC), engaging with cast and clients on-stage throughout shifts
- Foster employee engagement by demonstrating Sephora's core values: Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Work-Life Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative
- Facilitate Sephora training sessions whenever possible and maintain alignment with company training protocols
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role at a comparable volume store or equivalent internal Sephora experience
- Demonstrated strong client service skills and passion for beauty products and artistry
- Proven effective time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Flexible availability to work peak retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of experience in a similar services or supervisory role at a comparable retail location, or equivalent internal experience within Sephora.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education in beauty, business administration, or related field considered an asset.

This position is based in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, within easy reach of Edmonton.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 20 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
