Sephora Ancaster (ON) seeks a Stage Experience and Services Lead — full‑time role overseeing beauty services, classes and events. Hourly pay CAD$22.20–26.10.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own on-stage operations for assigned Worlds (e.g., Color, Skincare, Sephora Collection, Fragrance), ensuring flawless execution of services, classes and in-store events.
- Lead and coach Services Coordinators and cast to deliver Sephora’s selling model and elevated client service standards.
- Plan, deliver and facilitate training and certification activities; partner with store and district experts to maintain product, category and brand knowledge.
- Act as Director in Charge (DIC) when required, managing daily store flow, client experience and team engagement during peak periods.
- Deliver hands-on beauty services (custom makeovers, mini-makeovers, skincare consultations) to demonstrate artistry and service techniques.
- Maintain a coaching culture by selecting, developing and certifying SUBC Facilitators and internal coaches; monitor performance through class attendance and feedback.
- Manage operational priorities including scheduling, time management and execution of multiple concurrent tasks during high-volume periods.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years' experience in a similar high-volume retail or beauty services leadership role, or equivalent internal experience.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding client service with a passion for makeup and skincare.
- Experience training, coaching and developing retail or services teams.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Strong time-management and problem-solving capabilities; ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of experience in a comparable retail or beauty services role at a high-volume store; experience supervising or leading service teams is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training or certification in cosmetology, esthetics or a related beauty discipline preferred.
Workplace
This position is based in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada, within easy reach of Hamilton.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 22.20 to CAD 26.10 per hour.
