Sephora Specialist role in Bolzano, Italy. Lead retail operations, manage beauty teams, and drive KPI performance in a prestige beauty environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize qualitative and quantitative KPIs including recruitment, customer acquisition (My Client), satisfaction (LoveMeter), conversion rates, average transaction value, and units per transaction
- Manage and develop assigned department team, define performance targets, identify skill gaps, and drive continuous professional development
- Ensure consistent quality standards across assigned product categories including makeup, skincare, fragrances, and Sephora Collection
- Train team members on technical product knowledge and brand standards
- Oversee omnichannel service delivery including Sephora+ membership, click-and-collect fulfillment, and app engagement
- Coordinate daily and monthly performance briefings with team and Store Manager
- Plan and execute Booxi appointment platform scheduling
- Liaise with Trade & Communication Department to organize in-store events, masterclasses, and digital education initiatives
- Manage stockroom operations, maintain optimal inventory levels, and execute merchandising strategies
- Support Store Manager in developing commercial and HR strategy
- Resolve customer disputes and escalated service issues
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, safety regulations, commercial policies, and promotional guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in similar supervisory or leadership roles (Assistant Store Manager, Team Leader, Supervisor, or Key Holder)
- Proficiency with retail KPIs, budget management, and performance analytics
- Fluent English at professional level
- Demonstrated excellence in relationship management and stakeholder collaboration
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in retail leadership roles, preferably within dynamic multinational retail environments such as prestige beauty, luxury goods distribution, or selective retail. Prior exposure to omnichannel commerce, KPI-driven environments, and team-based operations is highly advantageous.
Education
Secondary education diploma or equivalent; further commercial, retail management, or business studies are a plus.
