The Skincare Specialist advises customers across beauty departments, delivers services and classes, supports the Beauty Hub, and contributes to sales-floor presentation and operations at Sephora in Berlin. The role is full-time under a permanent employment contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Actively support and advise customers across makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance departments, including on beauty trends.
- Deliver the Sephora Attitude: welcoming customers, understanding their needs and closing sales.
- Sell products through in-depth product knowledge and build customer relationships on an equal footing.
- Share knowledge about products, trends and beauty news.
- Continuously develop personal expertise and share it with the team.
- Provide brief, informative services across all departments.
- Conduct beauty classes.
- Take responsibility for the Beauty Hub.
- Develop team looks to support brands, trends and animations.
- Ensure product presentation follows visual merchandising specifications.
- Maintain the assortment and merchandise.
- Keep the sales floor fully stocked and prepare products for sale.
- Clean sales-floor furniture and products.
- Store and replenish goods in the warehouse and on the sales floor.
- Support merchandising updates, including conversions and construction.
- Conduct inventories.
- Operate the cash register.
- Carry out additional tasks related to daily business.
Qualifications
- Completed training in the relevant department, with a training period of at least 6 months.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the relevant department.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Substantial experience in retail, consulting and customer service.
- Good knowledge of the beauty industry and trends.
- Fluent in English or the country's native language.
- Communicative, reliable and organized.
- Strong team spirit.
- Open, motivating and friendly manner.
