Sephora is hiring a Skincare Manager in Cardiff to lead the skincare team, drive sales and deliver expert consultations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and inspire Beauty Advisors to deliver expert, personalised skincare consultations and elevated customer service.
- Design and deliver ongoing training programmes on skincare knowledge, ingredients, consultation techniques and selling skills.
- Drive department sales and KPIs through personalised consultations, proactive upselling and cross‑selling.
- Oversee daily skincare operations including inventory management, replenishment and merchandising to maintain a premium customer environment.
- Collaborate with store leadership on promotional campaigns, activations and seasonal skincare initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards for loss prevention, health and safety.
- Conduct performance check‑ins, set goals and support individual development plans; manage employee relations matters where required.
- Support new store opening activities as needed (stock preparation, merchandising and unboxing).
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in beauty or retail (minimum 3 years) with demonstrable skincare expertise.
- Strong coaching and people‑development capability with experience uplifting team performance.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through consultative selling.
- Practical knowledge of skincare products, active ingredients and brand positioning.
- Experience handling employee relations, attendance and performance follow‑ups.

Experience
Minimum three years’ experience in a retail or beauty leadership role with hands‑on skincare expertise and a proven record of achieving sales and operational objectives. Experience managing employee relations and conducting performance conversations is required.
Education
GCSEs or equivalent; a vocational qualification in beauty, cosmetology, retail or a related discipline is preferred.
