Sephora — Skincare Expert in Bochum (full-time). Client-facing role delivering skincare consultations, beauty services and merchandising in a prestige retail setting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert, hands-on skincare consultations and personalised product recommendations on the sales floor to drive conversion and client satisfaction.
  • Provide short services and beauty treatments across departments (skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrance) and lead beauty classes and demonstrations.
  • Manage the Beauty Hub and contribute to team looks and in-store activations that support brands and trends.
  • Ensure merchandise presentation meets visual merchandising specifications and maintain assortment standards on the sales floor.
  • Stock and warehouse product flow, prepare merchandise for sale, execute inventories and support merchandising updates and store conversions.
  • Operate the cash register and perform daily retail operations and ad‑hoc tasks to support store performance.
  • Monitor and contribute to KPI targets including conversion rate, items per basket, average basket and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational or departmental training of at least six months in a relevant beauty discipline.
  • Minimum three years' professional experience in the skincare or beauty department within retail or consultancy.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer consultations and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong product knowledge of skincare, with up-to-date awareness of beauty trends and brands.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; communicative, reliable, organized and team-oriented.
  • Fluent in English and/or the native language of the country; customer-facing language proficiency required.
