Sephora Skin Care Expert position in Cologne, Germany. Full-time or part-time retail role requiring 3+ years beauty expertise and fluent German.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide active support and expert consultation to customers in skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrance departments, with emphasis on current beauty trends and the Sephora Attitude
  • Establish and maintain meaningful customer relationships through comprehensive product knowledge and eye-level consultations
  • Execute beauty services and skincare classes while continuously developing personal expertise and industry knowledge
  • Maintain product presentation and visual merchandising standards in accordance with brand specifications, including furniture care and display setup
  • Manage inventory, merchandise assortment, stock rotation, and warehouse operations to ensure full sales floor availability
  • Support merchandising updates, conversions, and promotional animations; conduct regular inventory audits
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and handle additional daily operational tasks
  • Track and optimize key performance indicators including conversion rates, basket size, customer satisfaction, and service completion

Qualifications

  • Completed formal training in skincare, cosmetics, or related beauty discipline with a minimum of six months in-role experience
  • Minimum three years of demonstrated professional experience in skincare retail, beauty consultation, or related customer-facing retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to engage customers at eye level
  • Fluent German (native or near-native proficiency) and strong English language ability
