Sephora Services Lead in Nanaimo, BC—supervise beauty departments, manage sales floor operations, and lead a retail team at CAD $22.85–$28.55/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support all departments on the sales floor (Skincare, Sephora Collection, Fragrance) to ensure adherence to Sephora's selling model and exceptional client service delivery
  • Monitor sales performance at the department level and align team members with established goals and business objectives
  • Execute visual merchandising concepts and maintain sales floor standards consistent with company specifications
  • Coordinate store animations, product updates, and promotional displays to support the highest presentation standards
  • Act as Manager on Duty, providing operational oversight and decision-making on the sales floor
  • Engage with team members and clients to foster a culture of service excellence and brand loyalty
  • Analyze store performance metrics and identify opportunities to optimize staffing levels and resource allocation
  • Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and talent assessment processes for the store team
  • Demonstrate and reinforce Sephora core values including passion for client service, innovation, expertise, work-life balance, respect, teamwork, and initiative
  • Provide coaching and feedback to Beauty Advisors to strengthen team capability and performance

Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience in a similar supervisory role at a comparable-volume retail location
  • Proven ability to influence peers and provide constructive feedback
  • Demonstrated strong client service skills and a customer-centric mindset
  • Effective time management and problem-solving capabilities

Experience
