Sephora — Oakville: Services Lead (Full‑Time) role supporting sales, merchandising and client experience at Oakville Place.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor Beauty Advisors to ensure consistent execution of Sephora’s selling model and superior client experience across assigned departments (e.g., Skincare, Fragrance, Sephora Collection).
  • Monitor department sales performance and convert opportunities into action plans; align team goals with store objectives.
  • Act as Manager on Duty when required, making operational decisions, supporting complex client interactions and resolving escalations.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards: implement merchandising concepts, execute animations and updates, and uphold the sales‑floor look and feel.
  • Optimize on‑stage zoning and staffing levels to meet client flow and service expectations.
  • Support recruitment and selection activities for the store team and participate in onboarding and talent development.
  • Drive daily operational tasks including floor readiness, product presentation and inventory accuracy in coordination with Operations.
  • Foster a culture of client centricity by engaging on the sales floor, modelling Sephora values and encouraging teamwork and initiative.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a supervisory or lead role within a high‑volume retail environment; experience in beauty/cosmetics retail strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence peers, provide constructive feedback and coach to performance.
  • Demonstrated client service excellence and momentum in achieving sales targets.
  • Effective time‑management, prioritization and problem‑solving skills under busy retail conditions.
  • Comfort with acting as Manager on Duty and taking operational ownership in a retail setting.

Experience

1–3 years of supervisory experience in a high‑volume retail environment, preferably within beauty or cosmetics; proven track record of driving sales and coaching frontline teams.

High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in retail management, business or cosmetology is an asset.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 22.20 to CAD 26.10 per hour.
