Sephora seeks a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, IT in San Francisco to lead enterprise technology procurement and supplier negotiations. Base salary $155,000–$175,000 annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for Sephora's technology organization, with primary focus on IT services, hardware, enterprise software, SaaS, and AI solutions
- Manage complex enterprise-wide sourcing projects and contract negotiations from opportunity assessment through supplier selection, contracting, implementation, and ongoing performance management
- Partner with Technology, Information Security, Privacy, Legal, Finance, and business teams to develop sourcing strategies aligned with operational, financial, security, and compliance requirements
- Identify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and broader business value through enterprise discount programs, long-term agreements, and consumption-based models
- Analyze supplier spend, market trends, commercial models, and pricing structures to inform strategic recommendations and strengthen negotiating position
- Identify, rationalize, and optimize enterprise software and SaaS portfolios to improve efficiency and reduce duplication
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers, prioritizing engagements and communicating progress, risks, and recommendations
- Lead supplier negotiations and support contract lifecycle management, including commercial terms, service levels, and performance expectations
- Collaborate with global sourcing and technology partners to align strategies and maximize enterprise-wide value
- Support capability building by sharing category expertise, best practices, and market insights with junior colleagues and team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of recent strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience in a complex, multinational organization with strong focus on technology products and services
- 3+ years of experience leading complex sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations for enterprise software, SaaS, hardware, and technology services
- Deep knowledge of technology markets, software licensing structures, consumption-based models, and commercial terms
- Proven ability to develop sourcing strategies, analyze market intelligence, evaluate suppliers, and deliver measurable business value
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with demonstrated success in supplier relationship management
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across functions, levels, and global teams
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification preferred

5+ years of recent strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience in a complex, multinational organization with focus on technology products and services; 3+ years leading complex sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations for enterprise software, SaaS, and technology services. Retail experience is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, supply chain, finance, technology, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
