Sephora — Senior Product Manager, Retail Applications & Data Insights (Remote/San Francisco). Lead product roadmap and data-driven store solutions for an omnichannel beauty experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap and backlog for assigned Retail Applications & Data Insights products, translating business and store priorities into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Lead product discovery through user research, store visits, insight synthesis and experimentation; iterate using post-launch analysis and continuous improvement.
- Define, track and report KPIs to measure outcomes and inform roadmap prioritization and adjustments.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate creation and iteration of product artifacts while validating data accuracy and alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Analytics and Retail Operations to align scope, priorities and trade-offs; lead agile ceremonies and maintain planning/review cadences.
- Proactively identify and remove blockers, manage stakeholder expectations, and clearly communicate product decisions and trade-offs to diverse audiences.
- Develop working knowledge of end-to-end store applications, platform architecture and data flows to ensure maintainability, platform health and data quality.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of product management experience delivering digital products in complex environments; retail or omnichannel experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, analytics or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven product ownership skills including roadmap management, backlog prioritization and trade-off decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive data-informed decisions including KPI definition, measurement and systems thinking.
- Hands-on proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to create and iterate product artifacts, with critical validation of outputs.
- Preferred: experience in analytics product management, instrumentation and telemetry, insight-to-action workflows, and familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau and ThoughtSpot.

Experience
5–7 years of product management experience delivering digital products in complex environments; prior retail or omnichannel experience strongly preferred. Experience with analytics product management, instrumentation/telemetry and BI tooling is a strong advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

The successful candidate will be located in San Francisco, California, USA.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 149,940 to USD 185,100 per annum.
