Sephora — Neuilly-sur-Seine: Senior Merchandising Analyst (Minis & More). Permanent role in merchandising, assortment optimisation and space allocation for Europe.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and optimise brand allocation across Sephora stores in Europe for the Minis & More assortment to ensure the right brand appears in the right store for the right customer.
- Conduct in-depth productivity and performance analyses at axis, brand and product levels to identify assortment and space optimisation opportunities.
- Develop space allocation recommendations by product axis and propose the ideal nature and mix of products for distribution.
- Propose product life-cycle distribution strategies informed by market trends and performance data.
- Coordinate assortment consolidation with Supply Chain to secure seasonal supply and with Finance to consolidate results.
- Communicate product lists and briefs to country teams to support the development of planograms and store toolboxes.
- Design and deliver clear, impactful reporting and dashboards for Top Management and offer teams on productivity, KPIs and assortment performance.
- Define, implement and monitor relevant KPIs to track store and assortment performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Contribute to the transversal Space Allocation strategy across all axes through evidence-based analyses and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from a business school, engineering school or an equivalent university Master’s (Master 2) qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an analytical role; 4–5 years as a Business Analyst or similar in retail merchandising, RGM or related environments is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; proven capability in data analysis and KPI definition.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Structured, rigorous and detail-oriented with a strong problem‑solving mindset.
- Fluent English required; French strongly preferred.

Experience
Minimum 3 years in an analytical role; ideally 4–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or similar within retail merchandising, Revenue Growth Management (RGM) or consumer goods, with demonstrable experience translating data into assortment and space allocation decisions.
Education
Master’s degree (business school, engineering school or equivalent university Master 2).
