Sephora is hiring a Senior Merchandising Analyst — Fragrance in Neuilly‑sur‑Seine, France. Lead European brand allocation and merchandising strategy for the fragrance category.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define the European brand space allocation strategy for the Fragrance category, aligning recommendations with Sephora’s commercial objectives and RGM priorities.
  • Conduct in-depth, cluster-level analyses to optimise brand allocations by store and customer segment; identify opportunities for brand expansion or rationalisation based on performance metrics and market trends.
  • Partner closely with country teams to understand local processes, secure buy-in and support implementation of allocation and assortment optimisations.
  • Work in tandem with Category Managers to translate allocation strategy into in‑store brand visibility and expression plans.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising PMO to steer the development and enhancement of tools and workflows that increase process efficiency.
  • Track, analyse and report on KPIs; produce dashboards and actionable insights to inform merchandising decisions and measure impact of allocation changes.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an engineering school or business/economics programme.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a business-analyst or analytically focused merchandising role; prior retail merchandising or RGM experience strongly preferred.
  • Fluent English; French strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and demonstrated ability to build reliable, high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analyses for cross-functional audiences.
  • Structured, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
