Sephora Singapore seeks Senior Manager, HR Business Partner to lead strategic people partnerships across Southeast Asia-Oceania, managing talent and organizational change.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner strategically with regional functional leaders to translate business priorities into practical people plans and organizational strategies
- Lead organizational design, workforce planning and resource allocation discussions to support growth and future capability requirements
- Drive key HR cycles including talent reviews, succession planning, performance and compensation cycles, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
- Coach and develop senior leaders on talent management, performance management and organizational effectiveness; lead and mentor an HR Manager overseeing the Indonesia Shared Service Center
- Manage sensitive employee relations and organizational change matters with sound judgment, balancing compliance, fairness and business context
- Leverage data, insights and external benchmarking to identify organizational trends, assess people practices and recommend strategic improvements
- Lead cross-market HR projects and change initiatives while collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure consistent delivery across learning, rewards and talent acquisition
- Oversee HR scope for Indonesia Shared Service Center, supporting organizational effectiveness and evolving workforce needs aligned with regional objectives
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years progressive HR experience including HR business partnering and broader HR leadership
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies in dynamic, matrixed environments
- Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, talent management, employee relations, performance management and organizational change
- Strong background managing employee relations and engagement with sound judgment balancing business needs and employee experience
- Sound understanding of local labour laws across Southeast Asia-Oceania markets and strong governance/compliance awareness
- Experience in retail or fast-paced, customer-facing environments highly advantageous
- Ability to work through ambiguity, influence without authority and navigate complex stakeholder environments with diplomacy
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including substantive roles in HR business partnering and broader HR leadership. Proven track record of partnering with senior leaders in dynamic, fast-paced and matrixed environments to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Demonstrated people leadership experience with the ability to lead, coach and support HR team members while maintaining high execution standards. Background in retail or similarly customer-facing, high-velocity business environments is highly advantageous.
Education
Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or another relevant discipline.
