Sephora Singapore seeks a Senior Manager, Category Management (Skincare) to lead SEA category strategy, brand partnerships and assortment planning.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and co-lead the SEA skincare category strategy using market trends, consumer insights and sales data to identify white space and drive category penetration.
- Own a portfolio of priority brands and track omni-channel performance (by channel, market, segment, margin and productivity) against KPIs.
- Develop and manage commercial relationships with brand partners, including joint business planning, negotiations and contractual terms to secure favourable commercial outcomes.
- Lead assortment planning and lifecycle management: optimise product mix, coordinate launches, and manage discontinuations to preserve healthy stock levels and margin.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders — merchandising, market teams, supply chain and marketing — to execute 360° campaigns, activations and launch plans.
- Build and maintain a calendar of brand activities and incremental launches to maximise space productivity and customer conversion.
- Drive pricing principles, promotional strategy and conversion levers to improve category profitability and productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in category management, retail buying or related commercial roles, preferably within beauty or cosmetics.
- Proven track record managing brand portfolios, supplier relationships and complex commercial negotiations.
- Strong expertise in assortment optimisation, product lifecycle management, pricing strategy and P&L stewardship.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with Supply Chain for accurate planning, forecasting and inventory management.
- Proven leadership skills with experience coaching and developing high-performing, cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in category management, retail buying or comparable commercial roles, ideally within the beauty/cosmetics sector, with demonstrated success in brand portfolio management and P&L responsibility.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
