Sephora seeks Senior Manager, Brand Marketing in San Francisco to lead strategic initiatives for 23+ beauty brands. Salary $155,975–$174,325 annually.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead as primary marketing contact and relationship owner for approximately 23 brands, maintaining strategic partnerships and advisory relationships with senior marketing executives at partner organizations
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of brand businesses, priorities, and product portfolios; advise on strategic and tactical marketing approaches specific to Sephora's channel
  • Advise brands on consumer messaging strategy, sampling programs, social media strategy, co-op advertising, and creative development to optimize performance at Sephora
  • Develop and execute marketing plans for brand partners that drive sales growth and expand client acquisition in the hair category
  • Procure and manage Beauty Insider sampling, Play subscription sampling, and promotional planning for assigned brands
  • Analyze and report on ROI for collaborative marketing programs and sampling investments for both Sephora and partner brands
  • Identify and build business cases for new co-op marketing programs and partnership innovations
  • Serve as primary marketing liaison to assigned Sephora category merchants
  • Build reciprocal cross-functional partnerships across a highly matrixed organization to support brand and category objectives
  • Mentor and support junior team members and cross-functional partners, modeling Sephora values and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of brand management or marketing experience in consumer-facing businesses, digital content publishing, or digital agencies
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple simultaneous relationships with senior executives
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated success in strategic partnership development and business relationship management
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proven track record of ROI analysis and program optimization
