Sephora — Senior Maintenance Coordinator in Las Vegas: lead preventive maintenance and MHE/HVAC upkeep at the distribution center. Hourly $36.75–$39.30.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain the end-to-end preventive and predictive maintenance program for the distribution facility; ensure tasks are completed per schedule and documented accurately.
  • Inspect, monitor and perform maintenance and repairs on motorized material handling equipment, conveyors and building HVAC systems; troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Coordinate and manage vendors, contractors, inspectors and property asset managers for repairs, installations and facility projects; oversee acceptance testing and quality of workmanship.
  • Provide equipment certification and OSHA/state-mandated training; enforce Lock-out/Tag-out, fall protection and other safety protocols.
  • Train, mentor and indirectly supervise Maintenance Technicians and Sanitation associates; assign daily work, assess performance and communicate department updates to management.
  • Anticipate potential facility or equipment issues and develop mitigation plans to minimize operational impact.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory practices, facility housekeeping and compliance with company loss-prevention and safety standards.
  • Support company events and perform general labor or custodial duties as required; maintain flexible schedule including overtime and shift changes when needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree OR five (5) or more years of hands-on experience as a Senior Maintenance Technician in a distribution facility (10+ years preferred).
  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with automated process control and material handling equipment.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment; welding/fabrication experience a plus.
  • Experience enforcing and training on Lock-out/Tag-out, fall protection and OSHA/state safety requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights (up to 32 feet), and perform physical duties for the duration of scheduled shifts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, documentation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and preventative maintenance software.
  • CFM certification preferred or actively pursuing CFM; formal electrical/electronic, technician or mechanical millwright training is a plus.

Experience

Minimum five years of hands-on maintenance experience in a distribution center environment, including automated material handling equipment, conveyors and HVAC systems; experience training staff and coordinating vendors. Ten or more years of progressive maintenance experience is preferred.

Education

Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree OR equivalent vocational/technical training; formal electrical/electronic, technician or mechanical millwright training and welding experience are advantageous.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 36.75 to USD 39.30 per hour.
