Sephora seeks Senior Loss Prevention Analyst in São Paulo, Brazil. Manage risk mitigation, asset protection, and operational compliance in a hybrid role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and apply predictive analytical models to identify potential loss scenarios before they occur using statistical tools and data-driven insights
- Assess and quantify loss risks, proposing comprehensive mitigation and contingency plans aligned with business objectives
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to losses and generate executive-level reports delivering actionable insights
- Map and analyze existing workflows to identify operational bottlenecks and vulnerabilities contributing to losses
- Propose and implement process improvements in receiving, warehousing, and shipping to enhance efficiency and reduce loss incidents
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to integrate loss prevention practices into new process and system design
- Conduct facility audits across retail units to assess compliance and operational integrity
- Create, review, and update loss prevention policies and procedures ensuring alignment with market best practices and regulatory requirements
- Lead standardization of procedures across stores to ensure consistency and effectiveness of prevention measures
- Manage implementation projects for innovative technologies and solutions focused on loss prevention
- Evaluate technical and economic feasibility of new tools and systems, conducting proof-of-concept and pilot programs
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with technology providers, consultancies, and industry associations to stay informed of emerging trends
- Collaborate proactively with IT, Legal, Finance, Internal Controls, Education, and Human Resources departments to align strategies
- Develop and deliver specialized training programs for different organizational levels on advanced loss prevention topics
- Serve as a loss prevention culture ambassador, promoting awareness and engagement throughout the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Superior Completo) in any discipline
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in related areas such as security, inventory control, internal audit, risk management, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated expertise in asset protection and loss prevention practices
- Familiarity with security monitoring systems and loss prevention technology platforms
- Strong data analysis capability with proven ability to identify patterns and trends
- Knowledge of investigation techniques and incident resolution methodologies
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and lead loss prevention initiatives
- Understanding of security and loss prevention regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Capacity to make quick, assertive decisions in emergency situations
- Preferred: academic background in occupational safety, business administration, or related fields

Minimum 3 years of experience in related fields such as security, inventory control, internal audit, risk management, or loss prevention. Prior work in security or loss prevention activities is highly desirable.
