Sephora Shanghai: Senior Internal Auditor position conducting store audits, process reviews, and risk management across mainland China and Hong Kong.
Role & Responsibilities
- Independently perform store audits across tier 1 and tier 2 cities, delivering high-quality audit reports and communicating findings to the retail department (>70% of workload)
- Serve as Internal Control Business Partner, preparing audit plan updates and training materials for the retail department
- Independently conduct process reviews of headquarters functions to produce control documentation including flowcharts, Risk Control Matrices, and process narratives
- Execute ad hoc audit projects, annual risk assessments, control self-assessments, data analysis, and fraud investigations as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in risk consulting, internal control, or internal audit at a Big Four firm or equivalent organization (1+ year at senior level or above)
- Knowledge of internal control and internal audit frameworks; SOX, CSOX, and PN21 compliance experience is preferred
- Store audit, process review, or corporate audit experience is preferred
- Experience in retail, FMCG, e-commerce, or cosmetics industry is preferred
- Background in loss prevention or fraud investigation is preferred
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Fluent in English (reading and writing essential; listening and speaking preferred)
- Willingness to travel 30–50% to tier 1 and tier 2 cities across mainland China and Hong Kong

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in risk consulting, internal control, or internal audit within a Big Four firm or equivalent organization; at least 1 year at senior level or above. Store audit or corporate audit experience is advantageous.
