Sephora seeks Senior General Ledger Accountant in Central Jakarta, Indonesia for hybrid role reporting to Finance Controlling Manager for Shared Services.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations to maintain accuracy of the general ledger, including fixed assets, inventory, and accruals
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes in accordance with required timelines
- Prepare audit schedules and assist with audit inquiries; support drafting of audited financial statements (AFS) for internal and external audits
- Prepare statutory compliance submissions, including audit, tax, and secretarial requirements
- Ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with IFRS and Group Internal Control Policies
- Take complete ownership of assigned areas of focus within financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA or CA certification preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably from Big 4 firms
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with peers and internal stakeholders
- Fluency in English

Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, with preference given to candidates with background in Big 4 audit or accounting firms. Experience working or studying in an English-language environment is acceptable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or CA certification is preferred.
