Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide network support to Sephora Logistics regarding system and software execution across the Sephora Logistics Network
  • Develop, document, and implement roadmaps for logistics systems including WMS, WES, robotics software, and reporting tools
  • Own System Administration and KPI reporting across the logistics network
  • Assume project management responsibilities for all network logistics systems and software installations
  • Optimize current software processes within distribution and order fulfillment centers through development and implementation of improved enhancements and system updates
  • Develop solutions to operational issues and provide software-based recommendations to improve operations
  • Develop cost-benefit analyses and financial models to support DC requirements, designs, and alternative system selections
  • Act as primary logistics contact with IT to ensure Sprint roll-outs are documented, demonstrated, and implemented
  • Hold network continuous improvement meetings with DC operations and IT to ensure alignment on process and system knowledge
  • Develop and maintain labor standards and productivity monitoring across all DCs
  • Ensure KPI reporting is maintained on daily, weekly, and monthly bases for network publishing
  • Assist with capital improvement projects including automation, robotics software, and execution systems
  • Analyze current operating plans to identify opportunities for operational process and workflow improvements
  • Implement changes in operations to achieve cost reduction and service improvement targets
  • Conduct operations forecasting for staffing, assets, and facility needs to ensure service commitments
  • Identify training and re-training opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide training to management for implementation of new procedures, processes, services, and technology
  • Coordinate with process writers to create training documentation
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel to other Distribution Centers to support initiatives (approximately 25% travel)

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of industrial engineering experience with focus on systems and software
  • Expertise in multi-variable work measurements and labor standards development
  • Proven experience with process improvement and network optimization projects in distribution environments
  • Prior experience implementing software systems in logistics environments, particularly warehouse management and warehouse execution systems
  • Working knowledge of top-tier WMS/WES/WCS systems
  • Hands-on experience with JDA/Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or equivalent warehouse management systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of DC operational practices, procedures, and supply chain concepts
  • Proven experience with WMS/WCS/WES data and system architecture
  • Background working with Dotcom and Retail DC systems and operations
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with IT, DC operations, and leadership at all organizational levels
  • Track record of building effective relationships across functional teams
