Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and support IT Services platforms and integrations, directing AI agents to accelerate solution design and implementation planning
- Write and maintain readable, testable, and reliable code, configurations, workflows, and integrations; critically validate AI-generated outputs for correctness and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex L3+ production issues across supported platforms, leveraging AI agents to correlate logs and generate knowledge-transfer materials
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and product partners to translate business needs into practical technical solutions
- Share reusable engineering patterns, prompt templates, and workflow improvements; mentor teammates on prompt engineering and responsible AI practices
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of software or platform engineering experience
- Advanced, hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
- Practical experience applying AI agents, prompt engineering, and context management to engineering workflows
- Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, Python, or comparable scripting languages
- Strong command of secure coding practices, least-privilege principles, and REST/SOAP API design
