Senior Director, Global Social Media Initiatives at Sephora in San Francisco. Lead global influencer programs and social strategy. $206K–$230K annual base salary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and champion Sephora's key global social and influencer initiatives, including flagship creator programs, in partnership with U.S. and regional Social & Influencer teams
- Serve as the U.S.-based design market, defining global frameworks while enabling local market adoption and execution
- Partner with Global Brand Marketing and Integrated Marketing teams on social strategy, storytelling, and execution for key global campaigns
- Support U.S. Influencer teams on global activations involving international markets and creators
- Build and scale a global social governance, analytics, and reporting ecosystem to drive insights, learning, and best-practice sharing across markets
- Leverage social data and performance insights to inform strategy and decision-making
- Spearhead social innovation across markets, including emerging platforms, AI, social commerce, and new creator models
- Foster cross-market influencer synergies and partner with global leadership on reputational management across social platforms
- Evangelize the Sephora community across senior levels of the organization while fostering a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in social media marketing or influencer marketing
- 5+ years of experience managing and developing marketing teams in the social and influencer space
- Experience working in a global or multi-market role; international experience preferred
- Strong understanding of social platforms, creator ecosystems, and performance analytics
- Ability to influence and collaborate across senior stakeholders and global teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Experience
12+ years of professional experience in social media marketing or influencer marketing, with at least 5 years of direct team leadership and development in the social and influencer domain. International or multi-market experience is strongly preferred and demonstrates a proven ability to operate across diverse geographic and cultural landscapes.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 206,380 to USD 230,660 per annum.
