Sephora Senior Demand Planner in Singapore: lead demand forecasting for Collection across SEA, manage S&OP, and optimize inventory.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead demand planning and forecasting activities for Sephora Collection across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, integrating commercial targets, financial planning, new store openings, and product lifecycle data
- Review sales forecasts and conduct forecast accuracy root cause analysis on a monthly basis to refine forecasting models and methodologies
- Collaborate closely with Merchandising to forecast both active and new product launches, conducting launch forecast alignment reviews and challenging assumptions when necessary
- Actively participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes to align sales forecasts, financial plans, and launch and animation initiatives
- Monitor and communicate supply chain risks including shortage risk, slow-moving products, and discontinued items to Merchandising for inventory reduction planning
- Conduct post-launch analysis with Merchandising to identify root causes for forecast variance and performance gaps
- Define, develop, and implement action plans to improve planning processes, methodologies, and analytical tools
- Partner with Merchandising and local business partners to ensure local market knowledge is incorporated into demand forecasts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain management
- FMCG industry experience preferred
- SAP system experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to draw conclusions and recommend appropriate actions based on data analysis
