Sephora Sydney seeks Senior Category Manager with 10+ years beauty/fashion experience to lead category strategy, brand partnerships, and product launches across Australia and New Zealand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor omni-channel category performance across sales, margins, productivity, conversion, and inventory KPIs, providing strategic insights to drive category growth
  • Negotiate trading terms and manage brand partnerships, including contract renewals, annual brand plans, and sales targets to maximize profitability
  • Lead end-to-end product launches, including sell-in processes, forecasting, stakeholder coordination, and execution across all channels
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, sampling programs, and in-store activations to increase brand visibility and drive sales
  • Evaluate brand performance, manage new brand onboarding, and conduct assortment rationalization and delisting initiatives to optimize portfolio productivity
  • Oversee merchandising, floorplan execution, and planogram development to maximize space productivity and enhance customer experience
  • Partner with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, improve stockholding KPIs, and ensure product availability for launches and campaigns

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of Account or Brand Management experience, ideally from the beauty or fashion industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and result-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated keen interest in the beauty industry with flair for trends and style
