Sephora Seasonal Retail Assistant in Canberra, Australia. Part-time casual fixed-term position, $36.33/hr + super + loadings. November 2026–January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by listening to client needs and helping them discover the perfect products across all beauty categories
- Actively promote and educate customers on Sephora's loyalty programme features and benefits
- Maintain product knowledge across skincare, haircare, beauty, and wellness lines, staying current with trends and techniques
- Participate in cross-training and attend in-store beauty expert training sessions to expand expertise
- Support store operations through multitasking and adapting to dynamic retail environments
- Maintain availability across key trading times, including late-night and weekend shifts (Thursday–Sunday priority)
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build meaningful relationships with customers and team members
- Passion for beauty and keen observation of product trends and iconic brands
- Quick learner with willingness to expand knowledge of beauty techniques and innovations
- Ability to multitask and think strategically in fast-paced retail settings
- Full availability throughout November 2026 to January 2027 inclusive

Experience
Entry-level or beginner-level retail or customer-facing experience required; previous sales exposure in a beauty or retail setting is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; formal beauty qualifications or certifications are not required.

The base compensation for this position is AUD 36.33 per hour.
