Sephora Seasonal Retail Assistant position in Adelaide, Australia—part-time fixed-term beauty retail role for November 2026–January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver inspirational customer experiences by actively listening to client needs and recommending products tailored to individual beauty goals
- Demonstrate product knowledge across all Sephora departments and guide customers through the features and benefits of the loyalty programme
- Execute point-of-sale transactions with accuracy and efficiency during high-volume trading periods
- Participate in cross-training and in-store beauty expert training sessions to expand product and technique knowledge
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and support store operations across assigned departments
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming, inclusive store environment
Qualifications
- Proven retail or customer-facing sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and think strategically in fast-paced environments
- Passion for beauty products and emerging cosmetic trends
- Full availability throughout November 2026–January 2027 (mandatory)
- High availability for Thursday–Sunday peak trading periods and late-night/weekend shifts

Experience
Beginner-level retail or customer-facing sales experience; prior cosmetics or beauty retail background is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
Completion of secondary education (high school or equivalent) preferred; no tertiary qualification required.

The base compensation for this position is AUD 36.33 per hour.
