Sephora — Sanitation Equipment Operator in Las Vegas, NV; first-shift distribution center role at the Las Vegas DC.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of motorized and manual material handling equipment (powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, hand jacks, carts) to support daily distribution center operations.
  • Obtain and maintain required certifications for safe equipment operation and battery changing procedures.
  • Use equipment and manual processes to pick, pack, put-away and replenish orders to meet production and service level targets.
  • Operate RF terminals to support warehouse management and inventory control procedures.
  • Follow all Company, state and OSHA safety rules and Loss Prevention policies; report hazards and incidents promptly.
  • Maintain regular attendance and a flexible schedule, including designated shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Cross-train in other warehouse job classifications and assist Maintenance with projects requiring motorized equipment support.
  • Provide internal and external customer service per company standards and proactively respond to direction from leadership.

Qualifications

  • Ability to attain and maintain certification in the safe operation of material handling equipment and battery changing procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for the duration of the scheduled shift (stand, sit, squat, walk).
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 32 feet when operating reach trucks and similar equipment.
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts, including first shift and overtime as required; reliable attendance.
  • Ability to obtain any required DOT certifications.

Experience

Entry-level; previous experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred but not required.

Education

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21 to USD 22.45 per hour.
